Flexible After School Enrichment Programs
Our programs are designed to give you many choices when it comes to the number of days, hours, languages, and locations. Our offerings in Spanish, French, Mandarin, and Italian are geared towards Elementary school childen (K-5th) and include:
- In-house programs at both San Mateo and Belmont locations
- Classes at a location of your choice
- Parents' Night Out
In-House Programs
We have the following foreign language immersion programs at our San Mateo and Belmont locations:
- After School Enrichment for Kindergarten and Elementary school children

After School Enrichment Programs
Our after school enrichment classes are for Kindergarten and Elementary School children (1st through 5th graders). In them, we will introduce your child to a new language with a fun after school program. Our classes provide extracurricular hands-on activities in small groups that foster participation. The curriculum is based on age-appropriate activities and materials that create an active, dynamic, and creative environment. We have a strong focus on art and music as a way to explore each weekly theme.
Our goal is to provide you with flexible afterschool programs that fit your schedule. For Kindergarteners, we provide morning and afternoon programs. For Elementary schoold students, we provide programs that accomodate early dismissal days.

We come to you
We not only have classes at our San Mateo location, but we can also come to you. Our instructors can conduct classes after school hours at a location of your choice. Also, we will gladly help you coordinate private playgroups in Spanish, French, Mandarin, Italian, or English. We provide:

- Home schooled groups
- Classes at community centers
Classes at School
We will gladly work with your PTA to arrange 45-minute foreign language immersion classes at your private or public school.
We will introduce the new language in a fun and engaging program for kindergartners (5-6 years old) through 5th graders (11-12 years old). The age-appropriate and interactive curriculum is filled with fun activities that develop gross motor and social skills. The small class size (4-6 students) and focus on listening and speaking will give the child the confidence to start using the language in an easy and informal environment.
Playgroups at Home
We bring our school to you.
For preschool age children we provide the same curriculum as our in-house programs in 3 hour long sessions. For Kindergartners and Elementary school students we provide an active curriculum focusing on conversation, reading, and writing, based on a weekly theme.
Home schooling groups
For Preschool age children we provide the same curriculum as our in-house programs in 3 hour long sessions. For Kindergartners and Elementary school students we provide 1 to 2 hour classes.
Find Us at Belmont’s Parks and Recreation Department
Learning a second language has to be fun! In this immersion program children will enjoy and learn a second language through music, art, active play, dramatic play, puppets and more. Basic skills and concepts, actions and expressions, greetings, everyday active words and sentences, letters and numbers will be introduced. No prior language experience is needed. Parents' Night Out
We offer Parents' Night out on Saturdays. Your child will have a fun time with a pizza party with drinks, supervised play in our large playroom, arts and crafts, and finally an age-appropriate movie. (Fees are $50/single child, $65/ 2 siblings, and $70/ 3 siblings.)
